The Career Conversion Programme bridges skills gaps and accelerates digital transformation by sharing upskilling costs, helping companies invest in their people and stay competitive.

Eligibility Criteria for CCP Employee​

To qualify for the Career Conversion Programme, employees must meet specific criteria established by Workforce Singapore.

  1. Minimum Salary Threshold
    Earning at least $3,000 gross per month
  2. Residency Status
    Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  3. Employment Status
    Permanent employee with at least 1 year of service
  4. Exclusions
    ACRA-listed personnel & family members are not eligible

3-Month Funding Support​

The government provides substantial salary support to offset reskilling costs. Funding levels are tiered based on employee age and employment status to maximise impact where it’s needed most.

Enhanced Support: Higher funding for employees 40+ and long-term unemployed, supporting mid-career upskilling and integration.

Potential Roles for CCP Digital Transformation​

The programme targets existing professionals across five key disciplines, equipping them with essential digital competencies to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving economy. 

  • IT Professionals​ – Technical specialists transitioning to cloud computing, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies
  • Sales Specialists – Client-facing professionals adopting digital sales tools, CRM systems, and data-driven strategies
  • Marketing Experts​ – Creative professionals mastering digital marketing, analytics, and omni-channel campaign management
  • Business Development Executives – Strategic professionals leveraging digital platforms and automation for pipeline growth
  • Accountants – Finance professionals embracing automation, AI-powered tools, and digital financial systems

The new system will help to boost the overall productivity for the company and a total of 6 existing staff will get to benefit. Smart Pte Ltd decides to apply for the CCP to transform the jobs for their staff.
