What do personality types and AI have in common? At the recent Smarter Business Bootcamp, we found out the answers and let’s just say it left us all a little more self-aware and a lot more future-ready.

Discovering ourselves with MBTI

Ever wondered why some teammates love brainstorming in groups, while others prefer quiet, solo work? Yah Leng brought clarity to this with a deep (but fun!) dive into the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)
With these combinations, each participant fits into one of 16 personality types, each with unique strengths, communication styles, and decision-making approaches. Yah Leng explained how self-awareness of one’s type can lead to stronger collaboration, reduced conflict, and more cohesive teamwork.
Through engaging reflections and group sharing, we learned to appreciate different working styles and how to work with, not against, them. Whether you’re an energetic Extravert (E) or an introspective Introvert (I), every personality adds value.

AI isn’t the Future – It's the Now

Ken followed up with a hands-on session focused on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the way professionals create, market, and communicate online.
The session explored a variety of AI-powered tools that can automate tasks, enhance creativity, and streamline workflow particularly for social media and content creation.
AI Powered Tools
ChatGPT – For content generation including blog posts, captions, replies, and generation including blog posts, captions, replies, and brainstorming ideas.
Canva AI Features –Tools like Magic Write, Magic Edit, and Text to Image to accelerate design and storytelling.
Sora by ChatGPT – An emerging tool for generating high-quality visuals based on user prompts.
Perplexity AI – For quick research and summarizing complex information into digestible content
Microsoft Copilot – For generating slides, summarizing documents, and boosting overall productivity across the MS Office suite.
To illustrate real-world value, Ken shared case studies of companies using AI in impactful ways. One of the case studies:
- Starbucks’ Deep Brew: Personalizes customer experiences and optimizes staffing.
The session also covered how AI helps with:
- Scheduling content at optimal engagement times,
- Crafting targeted messaging,
- Monitoring social media sentiment,
- Engaging customers through AI-powered chatbots.
