This is confirmed, not a rumour. Enterprise Singapore has set the date: PSG, EDG and MRA close on 29 September 2026. From 30 September, all new grant applications go through the new EDGE Grant instead. The change was announced on 9 September 2026 by Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling, alongside a new AI-powered portal called BizSG, built to recommend the right grant automatically.
That gives businesses about three weeks to decide whether to apply under the current schemes or wait for EDGE. Here’s what’s actually changing, and how to work out which side of that date makes sense for you.
What's Actually Ending, and When

If you already have an approved project or a submission in progress under PSG, EDG or MRA, Enterprise Singapore has confirmed these will keep being processed as normal. You can still submit claims once your project is done. This deadline is about new applications, not existing ones.
What Replaces Them: The EDGE Grant
EDGE stands for Enterprise Development and Global Expansion. Instead of three separate grants with three separate sets of rules, it rolls PSG, EDG and MRA into one scheme, organised around what you’re actually trying to do rather than which government category your project falls under.

The Other Half of This Announcement: BizSG
Alongside EDGE, Enterprise Singapore is launching BizSG, a new portal meant to become the single front door for government business support. It uses AI to recommend which grants and services fit your business, instead of you searching across multiple agency websites.
The portal has already been tested by close to 700 businesses since October 2025, and it’s set to eventually cover licence applications and other business filings too, not just grants. For now, what matters most is that EDGE will run through it from 30 September.
